It’s expensive stuff, but well worth it. I use this on my heater hoses, my clutch line, and my A/C lines as they all come just inches from my headers on my LS2 swapped car. No melting, no weird smells. Very happy with them. The friction tape they give you is meant to wrap the ends of sleeve. I do find that over time the friction tape starts to unwind some. If I did it over again (or ever have the hoses off again)I’d still use the friction tape, but I’d try to find some big heat shrink tube. That way you can slide the tube over the friction tape and shrink it down. This would keep it from unwinding and give it a cleaner look.

This stuff is amazing ! Highly durable and fit over the business ends of some prefabbed -10stainless oil lines. Definitely seal the opening of whatever is being sleeved as it’s interior is quite fibrous. Overall I am very pleased in knowing that the lines running near exhaust are protected.

WORKS. Used this on my built EJ257 sti. I was having fuel pressure drop issues and couldnโt figure it out for my life. Attempted everything in the book besides adding a surge tank. I wrapped my 3/8 custom fuel lines in this sleeve as my custom fuel lines were being heated up from my motor and headers. As soon as this was installed my fuel pressure was consistent as 45psi base. Stuff works, and it works well. My only grip is that the material is difficult to get into right spot because it STICKS TO EVERYTHING, but I would buy it again without a doubt.

Used on my starter cable next to my headers. Also used on my hard fuel line to prevent vapor lock.
