Happy. Customer –
I used this on a 500 cfm 2bbl Holly carb 390 big block ..this is the 25 gph not the 34 worked fine no lean issues or fuel starvation even at WOT I chose this one since it only flows max 4 psi and I would not need a regulator . I used regulators and always had problems with flow also I recommend using the Holly metal type fuel filters the paper kind seem to screw up the pumps

My application is not noisy, barely hear and pumps fuel as it supposed to.IMO if you are replacing a non electric pump with this one, put a relay tied in with your ignition switch then a hot wire from your battery to the relay to the pump with a roll over and or an inertia switch.Buy a spare just in case.

I bought this pump to resolve some fuel issues on our 1929 Franklin Auto. Somewhere I read where some one ran this pump on 6V, however that proved not to be the case. As for the noise, it was very loud until the unit was primed and it quieted down dramatically after that. This is a pulse type pump and not the vein pump I had anticipated. Mounting it directly to the frame may transmit some of that pulsing noise into the frame and consequently into to the cab. This is a good little pump if used in the correct application.

Works perfect for a carburetor powered application

I replaced an extra-loud electric pump in a classic pickup and I couldn’t be happier. I can finally hear it idle. Works great so far. I’ll update the review next summer.

Pump gets really loud then stops pumping fuel, still makes a pumping sound but no fuel. Does this when it gets warm and has left me stranded a couple of times. Not worth the money “don’t buy”
Carma –
I was hoping to get the 5-7psi as stated and use a control to lower the pressure. This will only reach 3.25 psi. It technically should be enough to run the carb setup I have but I will probably look for a better pump. This is one of poorer quality items I have gotten from Holley. I would suggest against buying this pump.
