I purchased this product hoping to make up for the offset from my rear leaf springs. My truck sat at 10 inches off rear wheel and the front sat at 7.5 inches.. The shipping of this product said it was out about a week.. It showed up at my front door 2 days later!NOW FOR MY PROS AND CONSnote: I work in a garage so I do have it easier then most people with installpros:-my truck looks even and level-the product is very simple to assemble-I like the polyurthan feel to the strut blocks.. i feel metal would be unforgiving and would make the ride terrible-they give you a window sticker? (I’m not a sticker person but hey what ever turns ya on)-able to def upgrade your tire size i choose LT285/70r17 wrangler duratracs due to i can afford any rubbing i work on a farm at night so these blocks have been threw the ringing in the fields and I’ve had no rubbing-I personally think the Rec: 35×12.50-17 will rub in all seriousnessnow the CONS:-be super carful during install..-air tools highly recommend-pry bars will make your life easier-after install i noticed the ball joints touch the strut springs.. now when wheels are on the ground they back away from the struts…-be careful you don’t pull your wheel of of the axel…-i did not disconnect my sway bars you can if you’d like-tire rods can be a bit of a b___ to get back in.- a few hands for help and options always welcome- and if your not mechanically inclined the video on the rough country site is very helpful if you’d like to attempt it with friends but they do make it looks easier then any front end work is…-last but not least do yourself a favor if your truck has anywhere between 80-100k+ miles replace your struts and springs (YOU DO NOT HAVE TOO, BUT I CHOSE TO)

Good product. I had never done any front suspension work personally before doing this. I considered bringing it to a mechanic and having them install it for me but decided I wanted to figure it out for myself. It was a bigger undertaking than I thought it would be but turned out fine. Started on a Saturday about 3 pm, worked until 10 or so and called it a day. Picked it up again the next day and finished early in the afternoon. Some things that will make your life easier:- Whoever said pry bars are helpful was right. Have a good one on hand for putting the struts back in after you put the spacer on top and then for getting the upper control arm to seat.- Unless you just happen to have huge sockets and wrenches for the lower strut bolts you will need to rent them from your local auto parts store. Wasn’t a problem but I didn’t expect to need any specialty tools.- Have a covered space where you can leave the truck on jack stands overnight if needed. It will take you longer than you think if you’re doing it for the first time.- Recruit some help. Additional hands and another head helped a lot.- Take your time and don’t feel like you’re in over your head. Anyone who wants to learn how to do this definitely can.Overall the truck looks great, ride doesn’t seem any stiffer at all. If your shocks are already in need of being replaced before you install this kit then it might just make that problem worse but my truck rides great. Still haven’t gotten a front end alignment (doesn’t pull to either side) and it’s been off road several times since installing this kit. Don’t waste $300+ on getting a shop to level your truck, do it yourself.

*3 stars until further notice*I just received my kit from rough country and I was a little disappointed after opening the box. For one, the RC decal that comes with the kit was completely crumpled. Like someone balled it up on purpose and through it into the box. I know that’s a small detail but it says a lot about care for customer product. There was nothing to secure the product in the box. The nuts and bolts were not packaged in a bag like they were should’ve been (literally just loose nuts/bolts tossed in a box). Although I am having someone install the kit, I did not receive an instruction diagram that was supposed to be provided. Luckily I am having a professional install the product, but still. The lack of attention to detail and care for customer orders clearly shows. And lastly, my extensions are uneven and look like they have been used quite honestly. The surface face on both are uneven around the diameter, which makes me wonder how well the truck will sit or if someone has used these already making them uneven. The have black soot and dust on them (similar to soot you would get from brakes) making me wonder if I was shipped a used set of extensions despite paying for a brand new one. All in all, I’m really disappointed to be honest. I will have my mechanic look at them to confirm if they have been used or not but nonetheless…I expected waaaayy more from Rough Country. I chose them because they really seemed to care about quality and their customers. It’s sad my first purchase with them was underwhelming and probably won’t be a repeat customer now :/ Sorry RC, but y’all dropped the ball on this one

Installed with new kyb struts and shocks. Looks much better with the leveled front end, and rides great too!

2.5 “ level on front pit truck exactly level.I did not install it myself so can’t speak to that process. It does ride a bit rougher over bumps but overall ride quality is still good. You do have to get an alignment after installBefore and after pictures

Kept my truck stock pretty much the entire 8-9 years I’ve had her and I don’t know why I didn’t do this level much sooner. Paid my local guy $100 to put it on for me and she looks so much better. He says these are the gotos he uses and recommends too for F150s from 04-08 and he says he hasn’t had one go bad yet and they’re only removed when the truck gets entirely lifted. I love the look, even if it’s just 2.5 inches. It took him an hour to install and i was in and out in about that time too. Get this if you’re thinking about it, you won’t go wrong!
