- Brand: Remflex
- Material: Aluminum, Alloy Steel, Graphite, Rubber
- Shape: Square
- 1-1/8 inch width x 1-1/2″ height Stock Square Port; Ford V8 – 302 (’81-’95), 351 (’69-’97) Windsor, 1-1/8″ x 1-1/2″ Square Port, Manifold or Headers, 2/Set
- Heating and cooling of the exhaust system causes header and manifold flanges to warp resulting in gaps between the head and header which Remflex exhaust gaskets seal completely due to the thickness and compressibility of the 100 percent flexible graphite
- Remflex exhaust gaskets come in a standard 1/8 inch thickness and are designed to crush 50 percent allowing them to fill any pits or gaps in the flange surface up to 1/16 inch
- The aluminum cylinder head and steel header or manifold combination are configurations that readily cause gap issues in the mating flanges due to contraction and expansion of the dissimilar materials; Remflex exhaust gaskets fill those gaps permanently
- There are no rubber binders or composite materials in Remflex exhaust gaskets so they will not shrink or harden due to time or temperature eliminating the need to go back and continually retighten your flange bolts

A lifesaver for those of us with warped header flanges! I have consistent exhaust leaks on my ’66 Mustang because the header mating surface is not quite straight. This gasket is thick and soft enough that it seals despite the issue. First header gaskets I’ve had that I haven’t had to replace every few months! Huge fan.

Very nice feel. Installs nicely, very satisfying crush as you torque it to specification. I have not run the engine yet, so can’t speak to the longevity.

Sealed headers on first try. Great gasket! Very accommodating for imperfections and not picky. Just buy them already!

These things sealed perfectly on the first try…and on really tricky headers. The car is a ’72 Pinto with a 302 sbf and I’m running Hooker swap headers….which have a 3 piece flange. Primaries 1&2 are on the same flange, #3 is it’s own flange, and #4 is also its own….so you can see how that might get tricky. No problem at all, however, much to my surprise and delight. I had been using the brilliant (and now discontinued) Earl’s Pressure Master gaskets with replaceable seals….but these have proven a more than adequate substitute.

I had a nasty leak. Took everything apart. Put these in, bolted it up and what’s that? Idk.. I can’t hear a leak anymore! Best gaskets I have EVER used!!

Everything ok

Save you money and install Rte refulkae OEM gasket. This product is very soft and you can blend nothing because it will fading in you hand. When you replace the manifold without removed the engine, you need to blend the gasket to fits on the holes. Go for OEM and rhe cost is better

I love this gasket. Used this set to seal BBK long tube headers to 351 Windsor.
