   These are NICE. Sealed too! I had problems with my original relays from KC, they were NOT sealed, and corroded badly (installed under the cowl on a Jeep. They didn’t last 3 years. THESE however are an upgraded. What I want to know is why KC had to use proprietary relay design in the first place. I didn’t pay much attention to the wiring schematic at first, and tried to replace them with standard relays.. NOPE! lol. Ya gotta use these, or wire your lights differently (which isn’t a big deal, but I wasn’t going to rewire the entire system to use standard relays) When they came and were weather proof. I was plenty happy.

   This KC relay is the only one to use when running two or more off road lights .It has the circuitry to operate two 100 watt lights at the same time . It is wired so that two #87 contacts are actuated simultaneously . Other relays only have one #87 contact when actuated . I’m using 3 KC relays to control 5 , 100 watt off road lights on my 79 F250 Monster truck . Do it right the first time .

   The relay switches carode to fast no matter where you place the wiring. I’ve had to replace the two on my setup 3 times in the last 7 years. I literally get about 2 1/2 years out of them. But when working, it’s great.

   This relay was used to replace an original one. I use it for my headlights on a vehicle that shuts off the low beams when the high beams are activated. This relay bypasses this setting and allows for all four lights to remain on when the high beams are active and go back to normal when just the low beams are needed.

   Did not fix my issue, ended up being a fuse getting blown. I mean it works but I think the price is a little high for what you get compared to other relays that you can buy for external lighting.
