This cold air intake is designed very well and is one of the few that actually makes power. When I say “makes power” don’t expect this to make your car fast, but it gives better throttle response and a few good horses, (4-6hp). You don’t NEED a tune due to the 3.5” to 3” piping designed to work with the stock tune, but you definitely want to tune to get the most out of this intake. I ran this intake as my only mod without a tune for a month and my car ran perfect with no problems. Now I’m tuned with other bolt-ons.This intake took a lot of effort compared to others but it was worth it, the plastic tubing material is less prone to heat soak compared to aluminum piping. Some intakes have the filter near the engine where its taking in hot air, this intake’s filter is located down in the driver side wheel fender which takes in cooler air, but this also comes with a drawback, it has a higher chance of sucking in water during heavy rain, water + engine = R.I.P, so be careful and don’t drive into flooded streets/big puddles and you should be good.Overall, the install was a pain but absolutely do-able, the pro’s of this intake make up for it and nothing beats the satisfied feeling of putting hard work into your car. It runs perfectly fine without a tune, but you definitely want a tune to get the most out of it, and more importantly so your car can run at its optimal performance with this intake. Lastly, it looks awesome in the engine bay!If you guys have any questions on the install or in general, feel free to post a comment below and I will try my best to answer them. Thanks for reading my review, please let me know if it helped you out!

*warning for if your car is lowered*If you have a lowered car and removed the splash shield for the driver side, I recommend putting it back on. The end of the intake literally sit right behind the wheel/bumper. If you do drive it make sure there is dry weather, otherwise you’ll be risking damage to the engine ( I have not, just adding some insight) but overall it is a good intake even slightly better with a tune and exhaust.

Tedious to install, but that’s Honda’s fault. The filter and tubes are of fantastic quality and feel sturdy when they’re bolted down. The battery tray is thicker metal and bolts in three different locations to the engine mounts. Can’t beat the throttle response and deep burbling intake sound that you’ll get with this intake. If you drive a manual, this will help with some of the rev hang as well.

You will need a tune for this product as the piping is bigger than stock and causes the MAF sensor to sample air incorrectly.
