   NGK plugs are THE best spark plugs to use in any item requiring a spark plug…period and end of subject. And NGK makes a plug to fit damn near any engine application you might have too. If necessary, use a spark plug cross reference chart (easily found on the net) to get the right NGK replacement plug for some OEM plug your engine comes with (say, for example, a Champion OEM plug.) I have used NGK plugs exclusively in all my small power equipment (lawn mowers, power washers, outboard motors, etc) for 10 years running…and I won’t buy (or use) any other brand. They are completely dependable…and 100% non-problematic. They also come pre-gapped right out of the box (99.9% correct gap most of the time) …so no need to mess around re-checking the gap before using it. Just slap it in the engine instead and away youuu go. This e-tailer also runs a first class business too. Will give them an A+ rating in all respects for their service, price, free shipping and everything else.

   I bought these to replace the OEM spark plug, when it’s time to replace it. I read online, that the predator engine, is the same as the Honda engine and should use a NGK spark plug. This is a set of four plugs, which is plenty for future maintenance.

   I ordered the NGK BPR7ES 3785 part number and received part number 5534 also a BPR7ES.The only difference is the 3785 is a solid terminal and the 5534 is a threaded terminal.What I received will work just fine.This plug is recommended for my Predator 3500 generator as a replacement for the stock spark plug.NGK spark plugs are always top quality.NGK is in most of my small engines.

   My generator refused to start, only 3 years old and some hours on it, so on monthly test, no start! I quickly ordered this plug it came really fast, i installed it and now generator starts, the day after the plug was installed, had a bad storm and power was out 12 hours, generator using this plug ran like a sewing machine all 12 hours. Very satisfied. Cactus

   After only 30 hours my predator 3500 ultra quiet generator from harbor freight was not starting easily anymore. I run ethonal free pure gasoline so it wasn’t bad gas. I took a look at the spark plugs and it was more carbonized than I think it should be at 30 hours since their service interval is 100 hours for a replacement spark plug. I am biased, I do like NGK but I installed this and generator started immediately. I put a lil anti-seize on the threads and torqued to about 30-35 ft lbs and the thing fired right up and idled great. I’m not saying this plug makes it into an instant hot rod or generates more ponies or more wattage. Rather, its a adequate and possibly better than OEM harbor freight plug. Generator puffed a decent amount of black smoke at startup and again when throttles up under load. With the new plug, it’s less smoke than before and it’s mostly grey not black.So there you go…
