Used to replace spark plugs in an 2001 (1st gen) Suzuki SV650. Works without issues. Temperature change works fine for VA weather (8’s are normally recommended for this bike) and the EK has been rumored to increase longevity of the plug (E is normally recommended with the single tine). Will see how this stands up over time, but would recommend over the CR8E’s at this time for similar bikes in similar climates.

After sitting 4 years and getting the carbs rebuilt on a 1200cc Kawasaki I4 we put the carbs back on the bike, changed the oil, installed these plugs, set the choke, gave it fuel, turned the key on, pressed the start button, and within 20 seconds the bike fired up and was idling exactly like it should on all 4 cylinders at 1100 rpm’s, running as well as it did the last time it was on the road 4 years earlier.Denso and NGK are my choices for japanese cars and bikes and these were the NGK choice listed in the bike’s owners’ manual and they work exactly as they should so far so I’m happy with this purchase.

The new plugs worked great and fixed my problem with a motorcycle that wouldn’t even start. I’ve heard that dual electrode plugs may be less robust than single electrode types. Most high power, high compression tuners don’t use them because they are more prone to problems. Having said that, the old ones had been in the bike for 13 years. But it should be noted when I got the bike in 2005, it wouldn’t start….because of bad plugs….So, NGK good, but for most applications, single electrode may be a more reliable choice.

Works and fits great. Jet ski idled rough and had little to no power. Had fumes of gas out the exhaust. Switched the plugs and ran great!
