   Excellent and exact fit. Old sensor had transmission fluid in it that caused a multitude of problems from DTC code P0780. Caused shift position 1 to not have square around it, caused backup camera to turn on in shift position 1 as well as reverse (should only turn on in reverse), caused panic system (horn, lights to go off sometimes in reverse). Removed/Replaced sensor, cleaned connection very well. Problems gone.

   Used in my 2003 ram 2500 Cummins with 48re transmission.AKA the TRS switch. Instrument cluster was not indicating 1st gear when selected.These unfortunately are not the best quality design so spend the extra and go OEM Mopar. Mine leaked transmission fluid thru the switch itself into the wiring harness connector for the switch. U can swap this without draining the transmission, just expect a cup of fluid to drain out if u are fast to plug the hole with ur thumb and then plug in the new quickly.Disconnect 12v batteries and spray electronic contact cleaner into connector and blow out. Reconnect both the TRS switch connector then the batteries.All reading correctly now on the cluster.

   My old one was leaking auto trans fluid on my ’06 Dodge 2500. Replaced it with this one and no more leak. Easy to replace and works as expected. Make sure you have a gallon of auto trans fluid ready to put the level back to normal.

   Sensor started leaking fluid so I contact sellerFirst told me out of warranty but Mopar parts have 2 year warrantyThen told me to go to Mopar, does not want to honor warrantee, so be very careful with these scammers
