Was hesitant between the super 44 or the 40 delta flowI didn’t want excessive droneThis muffler is very good, I only replaced my rear silencers otherwise the exhaust is stockThere is a tiny bit of drone when cruising but nothing annoyingAnd the sound from outside is very deep and good until about 4000 RPMAfter that I find the noise to be quiet ( maybe need a bigger displacement engine for the full noise at WOT ) but overhaul I love it and I don’t regret getting it

I’ve had these on my 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GT for over a year and a half, and they do sound very good. I have dual exhaust coming out of the back and the OEM mufflers lasted about 13 years. I replaced the whole system from the exhaust manifolds back including the catalytic converter, welded everything together including these mufflers and exhaust tips. I used 600 degree black paint and covered everything after the y-pipe, and covered the mufflers three times. While they do still sound great, they are covered in surface rust and that started after the first winter. I’m not sure of the thickness of the steel used to put these things together, but I’m hoping they at least last a few more years before they blow out. If not, I’ll just replace them with the Walker Stainless Steel mufflers. So in the end… If you want your exhaust to sound great and you’re not running your vehicle through winter with all the salt they put on the roads, then these would be a very good buy.

Came as described. Put it on a 05 Ford Ranger FX4 with a 4.0. Took it to a local muffler shop and he made it into a full cat-back system with 2 1/2 inch piping. Sounds good. Not real loud but have a good low tone with no drone on the highway. My tires make more noise then the muffler at freeway speeds if that gives you an idea. I paid $100ish for the muffler then $200 for the piping and install so into it for $300 and have a full cat back so I feel like this was a win.

Flowmaster makes a great muffler. The 40 series delta flow is my favorite. I have 2 of these on 2 different trucks, a 1994 Toyota pickup and my 1985 Ford Ranger. They both sound great, the Toyota is a 4 cylinder and the Ranger is a V6. I would highly recommend these mufflers to anyone wanting a good sounding louder than stock muffler.

Purchased this muffler for a 2001 Ford Ranger. Muffler has a very nice growl sound to it. Install was about 30 minutes at a muffler shop. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Made of heavy grade aluminized steel should last for years. At certain rpm ranges the exhaust noise is a bit obnoxious.
