Looks like a better solenoid from the outside but since any real upgrade would have to be on the inside, I’ll have to say we’ll see on dependability. Like I said, looks like a real good unit. Almost American but I would be satisfied with Taiwan.

Ordered this believing it would be better than the others. WRONG! After the first try at starting my engine, it would start smoking while only clicking, but not turning over the engine.Then, since I couldn’t get to my car to install it for a few weeks after ordering this solenoid. I was told it was past the deadline to return it. So I’m out the money I spent on it.After this disappointment with ordering from Amazon. I went to my local Auto Zone and bought one of their Duralast Gold solenoids. Works GREAT.By the way, this Accel one from Amazon said “Made in China”. The one from Auto Zone says “Made in Mexico”. Go figure, right?
