The product works great. It cleans out the grime in filters well, just be sure to wear gloves! The first time I got some on my hands, I felt a burning sensation on my hand. This is not why I knocked on one star through. The reason for the 4 stars is because the spray nozzle doesn’t have a good place to be put when in storage. If the head of the nozzle is below the fluid line in the bottle I notice that some of the cleaner may leak out. This was fine as it was sitting on the floor in the garage but I don’t know what it would do to some finished surfaces though.

I have purchased 2 K&N filters a year ago and I love them. For the money you pay for a paper filter from the part store you save over time and yes you do get better gas mileage. As far as the kit K&N sells the cleaner and the oil its $10.00 which is not bad but given you really need to get the filter clean you need to use quite a bit of the cleaner. This gallon size is very economical and will last quite a while. Very happy with the purchase.

Great Kleen solution! i didn’t know that they sell by the gallon until i saw it on K&N website.The bad part about this review was the product got delivered leaking. luckily it was double bagged and there’s no damage leakage from the gallon container BUT it looked like seal just deteriorate or someone puncture the seal so it was leaking from the cap. Leaked inside the bag. loss of liquid was probably about 60 mil. if it leaked out a lot i would have returned return it.

Buying the gallon size is definitely a big savings. Seems to work well with K&N filters for getting the bugs & grime off.

the spray trigger is cheap broke apart with in a min of use used my old bottle. one gallon is good but not cheap.

Purchased this because the price per unit volume is much better than the small spray bottle, but it did not come with the sprayer attached in a plastic bag as shown in product picture.
