The quality is just as good as the positive reviews that I read before purchasing them. I was motivated to purchase these after I had to jump the engine battery on my boat. It was located in a difficult place to access with little room to work. After I saw these installed on my neighbor’s boat, I absolutely had to have a set. To jump your battery, you simply pop the insulator caps off, attach your jumper cables, and you have an easy, instant, access point to jump-start your battery. You don’t even have to get your hands dirty.Be sure to use a heavy gauge battery cable between the rear connection on these lugs and your battery post. Also be sure that nothing can touch and/or short between the rear connections on these lugs. The only thing that I would like to see changed on this product, are the threaded fastener rings that thread on the rear side, to hold the lug assembly in place. They used a typical, galvanized, conduit type nut that one sees inside electrical boxes. These would be better for boats if this threaded fastener ring, were made of stainless steel. One might want to spray paint that part for extra rust protection, before installation.Great Product

These are a nice size, and heavy. They have been working well since I installed them.Added: After only about 2-3 months in the sun (installed in the bed of a truck) the red plastic is fading fast.EDIT:After 1.5 years of use and constant exposure the fading has slowed down. I attached a picture of what the plastic looks like today. The red is very faded, the black is not too bad. The caps do not like to seat against the base anymore and tend to just sit on the posts. They do not fall off the posts and still keep them covered.

I had to return and reorder. The first set were missing one nut that I could not find a hardware store.

This product made it a hole lot easier to jump-start my polaris slingshot. I highly recommend it to all polaris slingshot owners.no tools needed except a jumper.great product.

I had to wrap the threads with electrical tape just to get them to tighten enough to hold securely. Definitely would recommend going with another brand.

Not to bulky- sturdy and made well. Plastic threads worried me but seems to hold up just fine
