   CTEK part number and image are correct but the description is completely wrong and has zero to do with Yamaha motorcycles – this item is a rubber protective bumper for CTEK US 7002 battery charger/tender. The bumper works great when you get it pulled over all edges of the charger – some effort in stretching and pulling is required.

   I wish CTEK just included this rubber bumper accessory with the tender. It helps hold the CTEK 7002 in place, protects your car from the CTEK, and the CTEK from getting scratched and beat up. I also think it just looks better all in black. It’s kind of expensive for what it is, but I have no regrets since I use the CTEK often as a smart tender or charger.

   Glad i bought it and put it on. Was charging the boat battery and the dog ran by and caught the cord. It fell from 4 feet off the back of the boat to the concrete. Still works and no damage what so ever. Wish it was a little thicker tho. For how much these chargers are, they should come with them.

   I purchased this protective bumper for my new CTEK MUS 7002 charger,fits like a glove. I work hard and I expect my tools to work hard and last. This is my first CTEK purchase and very pleased so far! So far I have used it to charge three deep cycle batteries and pleased with results

   These fit the CTEK MUS 7002 perfectly. They are relatively inexpensive and do a great job protecting your vehicles from scratches by the unit. They also protect the charger itself from rough handling and give the charger a finished appearance.

   Got this for my CTEK 7002 charger. Fits like a glove!Make SURE you are getting there right size though. It will be much too big for the smaller chargers.
