It fit and served the purpose of re-routing the fuel line down and under the electric choke, However the fitting leaked at both the carburetor and the small plug (for a pressure gauge). I fixed these problems by substituting copper washers at the carburetor fitting and a brass plug for the one that came with this kit. After that – no leaks and it allowed me to use my stock air cleaner with only a slight modification. The leakage seems to be a frequent complaint with this item. You can only tighten down that connection at the carburetor so much until your near the point of stripping the threads in the aluminum carb. Better to try some copper washers that crush/seal a little easier that the ones in the kit.

The fit was really good and it sealed up well with my fuel pressure gauge and hylomar. However, if you’re still tuning your carb and taking the air horn off this has to be removed. Not a huge deal, but finding the banjo sealing washers???

I can’t imagine why Carter/Edlebrock decided to have the fuel inlet in the back of the carb. That’s the worst thing about these otherwise great carbs. But this inexpensive inlet line solves the problem. Honestly, it should be offered as an available part of a kit, cuz most will need it. Tough getting the set screw tight enough to stop leaking tho. I used Permatex 515 to seal mine & had to put quite a bit of torque on it. Love that stuff on gaskets & seals too. A pro mechanic told me about it, now it’s all I use. Enjoy!!

THERE IS NOTHING TO DISLIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT . ITS A CORRECT BOLT ON AND IS WELL DESIGNED FOR EDELBROCK CARBS WHICH HAVE THE FUEL INLET AT THE REAR.

wanted to run fuel inlet to front of carb, this did the job on my 1805 Thunder AVS. Also helpful if you have a drop base air cleaner and need to clear where factory fuel fitting gets in the way.
