   pros-nice black painted coating-thick, solid metal-hardware is also high quality. thick and strong.fits perfectly, no fuss.cons-not intended to work with flip kit imho. BUT it does. (if your shocks collapse enough)-not an extension, more of a “kick out”I have no idea why these are called “shock extension kits”. they technically do extend the travel but that doesnt help your shock work better. it actually kicks out toward the shock, away from the axle mounting point to correct the angle at which it is working, putting them closer to a stock angle before you went and messed up your truck by lowering it lol.A flip kit kicks the axle back to create a better pinnion angle, well that in turn makes the rear-most shock (driver side) shorter, then adding the “shock extension kit” actually shortens it even more. On my silverado with a 5/8 drop, my driver side shock rides 2 inches smaller than the right side, at 14″ and 16″, respectively. im wondering if i should forgo the left side shock extension all together. hmm. cant say she is riding bad though.i would still buy again. just sharing the knowledge.

   I have a 2013 Avalanche with auto level shocks in the rear. I installed a lift kit, (2.5″ front and rear) and needed shock extenders to keep my shocks from over extending. These work fine for that. Not just for lowering a vehicle.
