The nature of this superior material, Energy Suspension’s Hyper-Flex, is the result of twenty plus years of experience working with and formulating polyurethane materials. Careful selection of material firmness or durometer is used for each specific application on the vehicle’s suspension and frame. The three most valuable reasons for using Energy Suspension’s Hyper-Flex components are performance, durability and appearance. Called “HYPERformance”, Energy Suspension’s Hyper-Flex is performance polyurethane that delivers an amazing amount of performance to any vehicle that runs with it. Proven on the race track as well as the street, on and off-road, under the most demanding conditions. Over twenty years of positive customer raves have attested to that. Whether domestic or import, front, rear or 4WD, or old or new, all vehicles will achieve that level of performance that has made Energy Suspension the most asked-for name in performance polyurethane suspension components. Durable Hyper-Flex components do not rot or deteriorate from exposure to oils and undercar chemicals or atmospheric conditions like smog and ozone. Unlike O.E.M. rubber, Hyper-Flex components will not break down and deteriorate causing mushy handling and poor steering response. Certainly not what you want on your vehicle. And for improved appearance, Hyper-Flex components are available in red or black, to suit your needs for show or go.

These also fit my 1995 Ford Explorer upper ball joint boots. It appears to work well after 2 months replacing a torn boot and holding the grease in so I do not have to replace the upper control arm (when the left boot tore after only a year!). I just cut away the old boot, cleaned and regreased the joint and stuck this on it. The pressure of the assembly holds it in place. It does appears to move around and squeeze out some more grease as you drive, so recheck and wipe away excess grease after a few days. So far so good.

Ordered these to replace a ball joint dust cover that had ruptured on my vehicle. Didn’t quite get the right dimensions measured before ordering so they would not work for what I was trying to accomplish. Went to energy suspension website and found a size that I can make work. Anyway, what I found with these covers is that they are extremely well made and look to be durable. This company has an untold number of different size covers for those looking for protection of ball joints and tie rod ends not to mention a myriad of suspension parts. Very pleased with the company and their products.

One size fits some. These sloppily fit on the tie-rod end ball joints I put them on. They work better than the factory boots that tore apart in a few hundred miles but leave much to be desired. The polyurethane material seems tough. I’m not satisfied nor dissatisfied as I could not find a properly sized replacement boot for my car anywhere. These will work, albeit, not as well as I had hoped for.

The items were purchased because my ball joint boot was completely torn up .. sadly due to my install job when I slightly tore the boot I knew it was only a matter of time before this would come back to bite me …. These boots saved my day very thick and fit pretty close to perfect on my 2001 civic great item for the job needed

I accidentally tore the boot on my brand new lower ball joint installing it in my 1997 firebird. I bought these to replace it and they fit perfectly.

Item works as it should and is perfect to replace a torn boot. I was able to remove the boot on my tie rod end and replace it with this one. It fit well and seems that the material is better quality than the OEM boot. Time will tell if the boot will hold up.
