Mine was red on top and yellow on bottom. Don’t know if it wasn’t oiled on bottom or what. I know the red color is a dye that comes from the oil and the fabric is usually white. I got this air filter because sometimes we drive in dusty areas and these oiled filters are the best for desert/dusty driving.And the fit is okay at best. It seems too long, so the long sides bow in a bit like the other reviewers say or show. it is a tight fit in the airbox of my 2011 Yukon XL. I bought another Spectre air filter for my Jeep and it was true drop-in perfect fit.

This is a great quality air filter comparable to k&n for sure. for some reason it is super cheap on amazon compared to other sites and parts stores so buy it here. It installed easily on my 2005 silverado with the 5.3L engine, I thought it fit perfectly. Noticed a small increase in throttle response on the low end when accelerating but I seen huge improvements at highway speeds for sure. At higher speeds the truck held its speed a lot easier up hills and inclines than with the stock filter. I didn’t see any improvements on fuel economy though. Definitely worth the money though.

Beautiful filter but it did not fit my truck. These filters only fit the trucks with the larger air filter. My truck uses the light duty air filter.

Did not fit a 2007 GMC Yukon with the 6.2 L engine.The filter was too largeOtherwise the quality of the product seemed fine. Did not fit my application even after confirming the correct p/n on the manufacturers website.
