Works much better than the “crush ring” gasket provided by the factory. Be patient, use PC breaker and let soak. Completely seals the Flange surface area. You may have to re-torque after driving a bit, due to the expansion – contraction of the exhaust and manifold flange. You may need a swivel adapter for one of the bolts. Gets rid of the “ticking” sound created by an exhaust leak. (which drove me more nuts than I already am). Will work great unless your exhaust flanges are bent. I hit a big rock with the exhaust cross pipe creating a leak. This Walker gasket sealed the leak. I went thru 3 donut crush gaskets previously… Also hats off to Amazon as the quickly sent me a replacement gasket as the first one that arrived was bend and defective. Good luck.

Purchased this thinking it would work on the passenger side exhaust manifold/tailpipe connection. I was wrong. Nothing against it.

The ring type doesn’t seal as well as this one. Quieted the truck down a lot. Especially at start up.

This fixed an exhaust leak I had that was my fault but these trucks should have come with these from the factory. It not only fixed my leak but I got better fuel economy after the repair. My 2003 Silverado normally gets about 14 mpg, last fill up it got 16 mpg.

Unlike the cheap ones this one has the crusher washer built in that makes it seal better… still will leak tho ????
