   Seems like a sturdy clamp; hopefully it will work fine for my intended application (not for an exhaust). I decided to only give it 4 stars because of a brand name confusion: I ordered the “Dynomax 35336” exhaust clamp by Walker Exhaust. What I received today was an “Exhaust Mate” clamp – but it had the same part number as the Dynomax clamp. I did some research, and found that Walker Exhaust is a brand name owned by a company called “Tenneco” (headquartered in Lake Forest, Illinois). This company also owns the trademark of “Exhaust Mate”. So whether you get an Exhaust Mate clamp, or a Dynomax/Walker clamp – you are getting the same clamp (which should be called a “Tenneco” clamp). If everything works out, I’ll change my review in the future.

   Fit perfect for original part replacement. 2 1/4 clamp for tailpipe to muffler. I replaced muffler and tailpipe together. Original is welded so I cut it off replaced with new. Fast ship and worked great.

   This muffler clamped was priced right at half the cost of my local parts shop. I was disappointed to find it was made in China. It is working just fine right now. Threads were cut correctly and the legs were the appropriate length. It’s made out of something with iron in it.
