   I see one reviewer thinks these are light duty and can be purchased at a store for half the price and another thinks they should have arrived with their muffler so they get either a 1-star or 3-stars. I paid about three sixty with free shipping and that’s less than at the auto parts store and if you want two orders to arrive at the same time from Amazon you’re likely going to be disappointed. These are hefty clamps and will do the job for years to come. I replaced my Y-pipe and catalytic converter that need an extension pipe so I needed 3-clamps. I’ve used a lot of clamps over the past 50+ years and the quality of these is no less than that of others I have used and the price here was about 2-bucks less than comparable items elsewhere and I paid about three seventy each. Yes, they are oily to prevent rusting in the package but if you’re installing them on your exhaust system you’re going to get stuff on your hands anyway. The clamp doesn’t need to be the biggest and heaviest available because they only keep pipes from sliding apart and rally don’t keep the system off the ground… once the pipes are fitted into each other and clamped to hangers these are more than sufficient. I see no reason to give them less than 5-stars and they’re working fine on my Chevy 3/4 ton 4×4 pickup… and the price was great.
