   I thought it’d slide over my muffler outlet where the old exhaust rusted off but it seems the outer diameter is 2.5” and so is the the outlet… but a nice sturdy butt-joint is holding it on great!

   I had a new muffler and nothing behind it on my jeep grand cherokee, adding the turn out made a huge difference inside and out. It is QUIET now

   This was perfect size to fit new muffler and to add as a down pipe on my Jeep YJ. Bolted right up and angle is perfect. Recommended!
