   I think a lot of people either over torque it or don’t go on the website and find the right sizing for their vehicle, but for me I did the research and made sure it would fit well on my mustang. It’s been in for a month or so and it’s certainly doing its job. In 7k more miles it’ll make my next oil change a hell of a lot easier.

   I already have one of these on my Cummins 5.9 its a solid piece and makes servicing it easy. I bought another one for my ford flex daily driver. It broke off clean at the oil pan. Frustrating but not the end of the world. Have to spin the broken piece out an put the plug back in. After looking at it. The fitting is a M12 thread. So there is very little meat left in the threaded area and the fitting is brass so it’s no wonder so many people are breaking them. They really need to change to a stainless steel valve asy. So in closing. I wouldn’t recommend getting one of these unless you have a m14 or 1/2″ larger thread size.

   Great product. I do all of my own oil changes and get this for all of my vehicles. Makes oil changes easy with little to no mess.

   Screwed in easily but the last turn to make it tight I had to use a Cresent wrench and use a little force to get the valve over a metal bump in the oil pan. Once over that bump it screwed another 1/8th of a turn and was tight. I circled in my pic what I’m talking about.

   For all that this item really is, it is for sure overpriced. In my younger years, I would have never considered purchasing such an item, but now in my senior years, rolling around on the garage floor isn’t quite as easy these days, and I’d rather not go to a “Quick Lube” .. Needless to say, I made the purchase for my 2019 Ford Ranger which is needlessly difficult to change. – I might add. Be very careful so as to not strip the threads on your valve when assembling your valve combo and installing it. Mine felt soft threading in and when snugging it up, it seemed as though they were about to give way.

   The EZ-107 fits the GM Duramax 3.0 liter I-6 LM2 turbo diesel. I have 4wd GMC and this, along with the EZ H-001 straight hose end allows me to put a clear 3/8″ tube on the valve and drain straight into my oil drain container. No mess, no drips or splashes on the garage floor, no guessing where the arc of the stream of oil is going to hit the container opening 16″ below the engine drain pan hole. It will take roughly 2-3 times as long to drain because of the smaller opening, so add an extra Bud Light to your oil change regimen!
