So this is only my second FLOWMASTER muffler. The last one I had was way more crackly and raspy than this one. This is just right for the guy or gal who wants to enjoy the sound of their V8, not lose low end torque, and not have too many neighbor complaints. I haven’t had it on very long, but so far I haven’t had any droning issues or anything like that. My install was easy AFTER I got my 3 year old muffler off. That was a challenge because of corroded clamps though. Once it was off, I had the new one on it 15 minutes tops. The only reason I gave it a 4 is the price. I appreciate that this is made just for the 1500 5.7, anything north of $250 seems high to me. Anyway, so far so good. I like it.

The ease of install is…. As easy as you make it. Low budget people with no ramps, hand tools-> this will be a “fun 1.5 hour project” for people with lifts and impact guns I would say this is just like any YouTube, “15 minutes install”.The sound is, impressive; yet not obnoxious. There is a rumble. Sounds like it should come from the factory. No drone, when you get on it you hear it.My only complaint is the paint on the flowmaster is not even primed, after install there is already a few chips. Size of a pen head. Nothing worth complaining…. Just goofy you spend $360 and they can’t even put a 2 step coating on. I will update my review after a month of driving. One more thing, if you look this up on YouTube, the videos do not do the muffler justice. Flowmaster has the only video online that sounds almost as good as the real thing.

Very easy to install. Once I got my 2019 Ram up enough to slide under. I had the old one off and the new one on in an hour. Would recommend tack welding the muffler and pipes since the clamps are a pain to tighten to a point where they won’t work loose. Tack welding will allow not having to cut the pipes if you want to change mufflers again.

If you want a great sound without being “too much” or getting a horrid drone at highway speed, this is just right. Shipping was incredibly fast. I had it installed so can’t speak for how hard it is but installer said wasn’t difficult with a lift.Cold starts and takeoffs bring out the “hemi” sound potential that’s already there without being obnoxious. It just sounds good. Highway speed you can hear slightly more than factory however you can still have a conversation, talk on phone, ride with a hangover (lol)… etc without being annoying whatsoever.If you want a reasonably priced add on to make your Ram hemi motor sound amazingly good look no further and put this in your cart.

Great sound. Easy to install and came with everything I needed. No droning in the cab but I can hear it. I used ramps and a creeper. I would say the hardest part was getting the exhaust tips lined up. Took about 45 minutes and that’s because I took my time. It’s been a year and it still sounds great. I’m thinking about deleting the resonators to deepen the sound a bit.

perfect sound. I tried the install myself but one of the clamps was inaccessible so i took it to a friend with the right equipment to cut the clamp off and we were done in less than an hour.

Easy to install. Great value for a China made flowmaster. Follow the directions, don’t loosen the inlet until you remove the tail pipes! Rookie mistake. Lube the hangers and the bolts. Sounds great, the wife will learn to love it. Really, it sounds great. And don’t forget to run it and re-torque the clamps.Enjoy!
