This install went in almost perfectly except for the fact that I forgot to remove the intake plenum off the face of the radiator mounting plate. Don’t make this mistake. Slipping the new alternator past that piece of plastic turns out to be very difficult if not impossible when all it takes is a flat head screwdriver to pop the 4 retaining tabs and remove that plenum. After that it was smooth sailing. The kit went in smoothly and works flawlessly. It’s a pretty cost effective upgrade worth every penny.

If you’re swapping a Coyote into something and never got an alternator, or even just replacing one in a 2011+, this is what you want. Can not beat the price for an OEM replacement that is not only BRAND NEW, but comes with ALL the hardware, tensioner, pulley, and THE BELT. Buy it. Zero regrets.

My original alternator gave out on me after 120k miles on my 2012 mustang GT. This is a great bang for buck considering you get a NEW alternator, belt, pulley, and tensioner pulley along with hardware. Don’t even bother with the remanufactured replacements from the parts store.
