I bought this for my 2008 TL Type-S. My old hood struts recently gave out and my hood couldn’t stay up anymore. I’ve been using hood strut holders for a while until I saw this $20 repair. They work like new and hold it up strong! Also really easy to install (I installed them in under 10 minutes). Definitely recommend for any TL owners.

They’re a bit stiff, and so a pain to align. So what should be a 30 second install each took me two minutes each. Not by any means a deal breaker, but forewarned is forearmed.
