OEM we’re great. They lasted a long time and were quiet. I had my brakes replaced at a shop and whatever the heck they put on was garbage. They squeaked and warped and generally were awful. I put these on and I’ve had no issues with about 5,000 miles. I put them on my FJ and on my 4Runner and have been happy with both applications.

The installation is pretty straight forward even for first timers. Just check some videos beforehand to understand your particular vehicle’s nuances. It definitely helps to have a spare set of hands.For less than the cost to have a shop do my brakes I was able to get premium parts and do it myself in a couple hours with a buddy, only took that long because we needed to get a different type of caliper spreader than what we already had on hand.
