I’m not going to be one of those people who rate things 1 star because its not exactly what they wanted. It is a very sturdy and strong switch that looks pretty awesome but I should have done a little more research about the switch before I ordered.I couldn’t find much information about the switch on the product page so I would like to shed some light on others who are wondering more about the switch. This is where I messed up and assumed. This switch is SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) From the picture you can tell its Single Throw (On Off; not On Off On) but to me, the picture looks like a Double Pole (four prongs in total) but its not. The pieces I thought were two more prongs in the picture are just little plastic knobs on the bottom of the casing. Maybe you noticed that, I didn’t.In conclusion,If you are looking for a SPST switch (only two prongs) then this is the one to buy. Its strong, durable, and looks pretty awesome. If you are looking for a DPST or DPDT switch, Run away. This is not the toggle you are looking for.

Bought this because my company told me I needed a positive air shutoff to continue to use my truck for work purposes even though it was not required by the client. I bought this switch and sent the company a picture of it installed and told them it was a positive air shutoff. Company bought the lie so the switch did its job. $5 was better than $700.

This switch is a great value for a full-size SPST switch, far superior to the cheap (in price, quality, and potentially safety) switches out there. The cover is attractive, especially for aviation types like me, and it adds an extra layer of safety that is important to my application. The cover can be easily omitted if you don’t want or need it, and the switch would remain a good value even if you didn’t use the cover. I will be ordering a couple more, just to have on hand for future projects.

Robust and strudy. This switch for the money value almost seems as tho the manufacturer cut themselves short. These are one of those switches where it feels like it’s $25 bucks or more, but then amazed with how inexpensive it is give how strudy it is. The click of the toggle is sharp and has a nice click/snap sound that gives you the feel of great quality.I installed this for my winch using an indicator light.

I had purchased some much cheaper switches, but they failed so quickly it wasn’t funny. I installed these to replace the cheapies and a year later these are still working fine. The guard is pretty cool too.

I was searching for a switch that resumes the off position when you let go. I didn’t get what I wanted, so I looked at the listing to see if it was my mistake or Amazon’s. There are lots of features listed that have nothing to do with this product. There is nothing blue, anodized, or carbon fiber on this switch. It is a basic on/off toggle switch with a red plastic cover.
