Lokar 2 inch Column Shift Linkage for GM Aftermarket is the ultimate answer to interference issues when you are unable to use factory or Lokar’s hard column linkage. The cable allows you to route the cable around transmission, exhaust, cross-members and brake pedals. The Exclusive Billet Aluminum Mounting Arm can be used on either side of the column. Lokar’s Column Cable Shift kit allows you to use the shift indicator kits. It can also be used in conjunction with the Back-Up Light or Neutral Safety Switch kit (BL-1400U) for most GM transmissions. It is available in black housing, designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable, and stainless inner wire measuring 6 feet in length. It has ready-to-install hardware and brackets included in the kit. There is no cutting or measuring as it simply bolts on. Longer cables are available upon request. Does not fit Ford or Chrysler Transmissions.
- Allows you to route cable around transmount/exhaust
- Crossmembers/brake pedals
- Allows you to use shift indicator kits
- Black housing
- Specially extruded liner for extended cable life

If you have a modified vehicle this is the way to go. So simple and it works. I tried using other linkages and they just wouldn’t clear all the obsticals. I recommend this if you don’t want to adjust and re-adjust.

installed on a 1992 S-10 Blazer column with a turbo 400. It solved the problem of running linkage in very tight quarters. Still waiting to do a test drive and put the front clip back on with fender wells that will create a tight fit. All in all, another great Lokar product.

I read the description and seen that it does not work with the 4L60E but with a little engineering and fab work it will work. You do not need the column mount or the horse shoe adapter but it can work with a new bracket mounted to the fire wall. So far it is working as it should with no issues.

Like everything about it. Speedway makes hard jobs easy.

I have a 68 C10 with a CPP column and a 4L80E. The clearance on the firewall was too tight to run the cable where it needed to go. You can’t really bend the cable or it binds up in the sleeve. It is more of a push/pull rod than an actual cable. I could’ve made it work but I didn’t want to risk messing it up and not be able to return it. Over all great quality.

After Heavily modifying it only kind of works. The direction is backwards to what i need for bop Th350 trans And is slightly short for how i would need to set it up
