   Issue is that it works too well. I live in Central Kentucky and November (2021) has been cooler than usual. Moreso closer to winter temperatures than we normally have this time of year. Because of that, this thermostat has been throwing coolant system codes for me because the coolant temperature is too low. Or at least that’s my understanding. I’m sure this would be a great replacement for OEM in southern states such as Texas or Arizona, but seems more overkill than necessary in Kentucky.

   Installed this on my 15′ DD R/T. Extremely easy to install. Just take off the intake and the 2 thermostat bolts and swap it out. IMPORTANT! Make sure you put the new thermostat in the same way the old one was taken out and make sure the rubber seal is seated firmly around the thermostat. The old 203°F Stat kept temps just under the one half mark. This new 180°F stat kept in dead on the 1/4 mark. I have no tune. The lowest outside temp I have driven it in so far is 72°F. So, in the winter it may throw a code. But no code so far 😀

   Installed this when doing the fan swap. Temp gauge hangs out around the first 1/4 mark. My truck has the automatic shutters removed, just fyi.

   For someone who’s looking for a performance thermostat for a Chrysler 300 srt8 06 this would be the best 100% recommended

   Lo mejor hasta el momento, yo muevo carros ???? de punto A a punto B, muchas veces pick up truck; siempre me preocupo el que se calentara mi troca especialmente en las montañas de Pennsylvania y West Virginia, después que puse este termostato la temperatura bajo 3 puntos lo mejor es que ahora cargado o descargado la temperatura ya no sube para nada.

   Don’t install this unless you want it to throw a CEL for thermostat rationality! Worked for about 3 days before it threw the code. Had to switch to the 192 degree thermostat to get the CEL to go away.
