Quality product stopped the steering shake and fit my 05 F250 FX4 perfect, not as heavy duty (much thinner cylinder and piston as OEM by Rancho) but works good nevertheless. After several months of use only issue is the rubber bushings are cracking pretty bad. Can’t blame Monroe or seller as several products I’ve purchased here seem to be older stock, for the savings here I can’t complain. Planned on upgrading bushings to polyurethane anyway and is a cheap fix

Fit my F250. Only issue I would have is the description. The item should be named Steering Stabilizer not dampener. The dampeners go on the lower tie rod and the stabilizer goes on the main steering rod. Thankfully I just turned my mount 180 degrees out to make the product fit. I didnt do this at first and my steering was cut in half. LOL. Simple mod for fitment.

Seems to be as good or better than OE. The factory damper was a bit difficult to remove. On this product because you are able to separate the damper from the tapered connecting bolt you can then twist the bolt via the built in large hex nut above the taper to loosen it. Should be a breeze to remove if you ever need to.

Its a good OEM replacement. There’s definitely better out there. But to get by and for the price, you can’t beat this damper.

Did not work for me. I ordered matching front shocks and they worked great and improved ride and stability however this stabilizer had been a return which I was fine with, I just thought I would use my old bolts but the mounting bolt on drivers side was made and formed on my old one and non removable. Also on the passenger side of the new stabilizer the formed cup that holds the rubber bushing was welded on backwards facing inward towards the stabilizer body instead of outward to cradle the bushing to the frame. So no way it was going to work. I still plan on buying matching rear shocks as soon as I have time to replace a pinion seal.

Only gave it a 3 because it said fits 2004 Excursion 2WD with 6.0 Diesel. It does not you need the SC2914 even though it says does not fit the vehicle. The monroe steering stabilizers are very good for OE standard replacements.
