Exactly what I needed and they got here extremely fast.

was to be universal, but will not fit on pontiacs, so not gm capatible!!!!

I was going to use extra distributor gaskets but these shims were so much better. I used a feeler gauge to measure the gap. I used a dap of RTV sealer between the shim and distributor and let it dry overnight before I installed the distributor and gasket.

Someone mentioned in a review that these are not universal and don’t work with Pontiac. Actually they work perfect but you have to remove the gear first to get these shims on.
