My old spacers had washers for adjustment. Bad idea. The alternator and fuel pump moved too much. Cut these to the actual length needed and they are ideal. Makes for a solid installation.

Used it to replace the old jury-rigged spacer that held the old alternator in place when I replaced it with a Hitachi 100-Amp on my 1978 Ford LTD. Having one of these that is properly sized is integral in engines with high-torque that may shift the alternator back and forth displacing the belts. This particular spacer fit perfectly for my application and did not require re-sizing.

It’s a crome tube

Cut to fit. Just a hallow tube to cover a bolt and hold out bottom of alternator.

I bought a wind turbine generator.I cut to length this spacer for my turbine so it would tighten up solid.

I’m sure the stupid thing is going to work out just fine but it would be great if you idiots would have delivered it to my house instead of forcing me to Chase all over town for two days looking for it

Worked perfectly
