   its hard finding an open air filter for a barrel carburetor because the opening on most open air filters is 5 inches these adapters work perfect they feel really cheap but i had in my 76 Monte Carlo for about a month and haven’t had an issue both ends hug the carburetor and the air filter really snug so you don’t have to worry about air leaks.

   The adapter was a cheap piece of molded plastic that has no substance or strength. Although the piece fit it was so flimsy that you could not tighten the wing nut on top of the air cleaner enough to make it secure. It would just push down and distort the plastic adapter. Then as the engine heated up the plastic got soft and made the situation worse. It has since been placed in the garbage. I have purchased parts from Mr. Gasket in the past with good results but am very disappointed this time.

   Bought it online because no store sells it wanted a sharp look for my 68 k20 with 350 motor can’t even tell it’s there nice low profile and once I go to bigger 4 barrel carb I have the other adapters to go bigger with same fit as the 2 barrel that’s on my truck now. Always enjoyed Mr gasket parts never unhappy
