   Air cleaner stud came in today. My old ones threads were stripped. It fit perfect in my 89 camaro 305. Very pleased. I didn’t need the extra bits that came with it but I will keep them in case I get a newer throttle body or air cleaner. The cost was great no complaints, I ordered it Monday and I arrived on a Thursday. I noticed the part of the stub that goes into the throttle body right before the bend is a lot longer then my original so I can spin it deeper into the threaded hole without the bend hitting the injectors and the part that come out the top of the list isn’t sticking out so much. Great job on your product.

   I wanted to swap from the duel studs to a single to have more aftermarket options when it came to air filter housings. It screwed into the center hole, just in front of the injectors on the TB. When tightened all the way, it was slightly turned to the right, so I left it loose an 8th of a turn to center it. The housing will hold it in place. I had to use the included extension to fit my 3″ filter housing using the stock TBI collar.

   Is is 5″ long but dont let that scrare you that it’s to short, because the brass colored fitting will extend it up to 6″ or over, just besure to rub a little lock tight, so they wont viberate loosei might be a good idea. The first pic is it installed on a 1992 GMC Sonoma 4.3 v6. throttle body, it screw in the front. My breather is the ones with a cone style filter on the end, but it was about the same thickness as a Elderbrock breather of mine. the screw dont have to be screwed completely down, the wing nut will pull everything tight. Only problem i had was the screw could have been bent a little, but it worked fine without doing that, as you see how high the screw is, it will adjust a little higher than that. Hope that helps!

   My 94 Silverado came factory with two bolts for the TBI air filter lid and they were missing when I bought the truck. I bought a single hole lid and had to buy this adapter and it made the install easy. Good quality, very pleased

   Didn’t like that the wing nut was not good quality and small , but at the same easy fix .
