   I bought this to install it in my 1985 Mercedes Benz but I went with an OEM replacement and this sits on my desk in the shop. Maybe one day I’ll find a use for it. Thought about hiding it under the dash or hood as an extra security measure. Keep it on normally unless you go somewhere you want to be really secure at. Then even if someone trys to steal the car/truck they would need another key to start it. Which they would never know even exist.

   I have used many universal ignition switches on hot rod builds. Always the “go to” item when having ignition problems. Have not found any better other than some of the pull types. Not always the best choice for an open car or use on a custom bike.

   Install was easy, markings are great and clear, unit is solid and appears well built. 4 keys are convenient and good touch. External nut mount is do too Al but not the most beautiful
