Spectre has an identical part, it seems, Spectre 87911 that is made of EPDM and comes with no clamps or insert but at the same money ($20). TELL US HOW THEY COMPARE! So I went down to a local OReillys in Fremont, CA and asked for 90-degree rubber 3″ elbows. Silly girl insisted they have none and to prove it danced me up and down all the wrong aisles and held up items not even close. On my way out the door I spotted one Spectre 8791 on the shelf near cold air kits. I opened the box, seemed like it would work in my application. OReilly only had one. Took it home, tried it, fit good. So I bought three more here on Amazon. FULL PRICE as retail store.Item A+; sellers, staff, prices bad.Never did see or learn more about EPDM Spectre 87911.

The product seems sturdy enough. Based on reviews here, I poked and prodded at it to kake sure it wasn’t going to tear in use. Its fine.It comes with two hose clamps, but I didn’t use them. Its for my unpressurized intake, and it fits tight enough not to pop up.I used it with a Spectre bulkhead fitting, and a Spectre flex hose. It fit the bulkead fitting fine. But how to attach it to the hose? The little 2.5″ adapter thing that comes with it was too flimsy and too short. So I went to Home Depot and got a 3″ dryer duct pipe, about a foot long for under $4. Cut it down to about 4″ long, painted it black for good measure, and it works perfectly. Slightly tight fit for both the hose and the 90. Had to wrestpe them both on. But they sure won’t come loose.Don’t use flat paint, will just make it that much harder to slide hose on.One advantage of using the metal dryer duct is its so thin, it won’t impede flow.

I’m divided here; I’ve used a lot of Spectre Performance parts on my modular intake I created, and have had a ton of problems with unmetered air getting in and other issues. These elbows are pretty cool though, very durable, flexible rubber and require much less space than traditional plastic elbows Spectre sells. I used these with my K&N intake that I cut in half and it fits well and does not leak.

I actually used these for the bilge vent on our classic ski boat, the vent is right above the fuel tank with limited space, the plastic “dryer duct tube” would kink trying to make the 90 degree bend, these work excellent, no kinks, unrestricted air movement.

Clearly a cheap rubber, quite thin, holds a set if you bend it, and the spacer to use 2.5 inch for is not safe to use for a turbo inlet IMO.

Es una buena opción para cambiar la orientación del filtro de aire, cuando se tiene poco espacio.

I needed to change the the air flow unit on my 99 Jeep WJ, inline 6 and this worked fine along with small modifications. I went to Home Depot and purchased duct adapter and wrapped it with reflexive tape and drilled a hole for the vent tube.
