   I bought this for a DIY cold air intake for a 1997 F250 7.3L and it worked perfect. I’m gonna say that this is the nicest packaged product I’ve bought in a long time. It’s packed nicely in a box with a cloth bag protecting the pipe. Very high quality!

   Wasn’t as tight a fit as it should be compared to other manufacturers, but got it done with a little tighter clamp but worked for my 96 7.3 powerstroke

   I put this on my early 99 7.3 and it works perfectly to connect the stock air intake to an Amsoil air cleaner.It has seemed to lower my EGT’s and give me better sustained pulling power for mountains without having to let off to keep EGTs from popping holes in my pistons. I had a 3″ PVC elbow on there before, and while it worked acceptably, this gives a much better cross sectional area and smoother transition from the filter to the intake tube.Whether you use the Amsoil cleanable filter or one of the Napa ones, this is a great option for a much more open intake with better air flow. You just can’t really get better air flow unless you use a filter that lets more dirt through COUGH gauze COUGH.

   Fits perfectly for custom intake piping it came shipped in a nice box and inside the box it was enclosed in a neat drawstring bag felt really good strong and shiny aluminum piece was a 4” 45 degree elbow

   The chrome was faulty right out of the box. Use to build an Ls3 intake. Worked great. Ended up powder coating it so the chrome imperfections didn’t bother me much.
