   OK for any 1960s, 1970s and 1980s 318 or 360 motor this dual pulley alternator will not mount correctly nor will the pulleys align correctly! However, if you don’t have air-conditioning on your motor it’s a breeze with no worries or complications, BOOM!. Secondly, if you have the stock Air Conditioning option on your motor that is stock, you have two options with the DUAL pulley 140 amp powermaster alternator. Keep all pulleys as stock installed (1) if you keep air-conditioning your alternator mount brackets have to be replaced with single pulley alternator bracket and longer mount bolts (2) if omitting the stock air conditioning compressor which is entirely outdated due to non conforming air conditioning charge refrigerant being NON CFC you will have to utilize single pulley alternator stock mounting bracket and bolts and go to 1 single belt which at minimum needs to be 56 inches or longer to include stock mounted power steering pump, water pump and alternator! I did my homework and labor for 3 consecutive days on and off because I just want to know what’s gonna work and what’s not. Im a certified and licwnsed Airfram and Powerplant mechanic. Overall, after complete install, tightening the 56 inch belt and utilizing “6” GAUGE positive and negative cable I give this alternator and the individual who came up with this phenomenal upgrade a thorough 5 out of 5 star rating! Alternator is highly smooth at idle and heavy pedal. Installed on a 1984 Dodge B250 3/4 ton 6 door van with 360 5.9 ltr motor!P.S. Upgrading to this alternator omits electrical transmission to your DASH charging gauge to reflect POSITIVE charge. I upgraded to a 3 way seperate receptacle (cigarette lighter port, usb port, digital amp charging electrical system gauge) upgrade where the stock cigarette lighter is installed on my 84 Dodge B250 van it is a stock 2 inch tall by 6 inch wide removable that utilizes the stock power and ground wire. I highly recommend this upgrade for simplicity and value because you can still keep your stock charge indicator gauge on your dash and you get 3 upgrades in 1 unit. I’ve always been a dedicated and committed Dodge owner and NEVER let the old saying of “Dodges always have electrical problems,” get me down to pass it on to the Dodge owner world please do this alternator upgrade you’ll love yourself for the options, time, and money spent! Freedom never dies!
