This little baby will spin my 565 big block Chevy engine with zero problems as all, even when the car is hot and just shut off. Never had a problem with it at all and the price was reasonable for the quality of starter it is. It has been in the car for some time now and I’ve had zero issues with the car starting. I had a buget no-name mini starter in the car that left me stranded when it no longer could crank the engine over. First I thought it was a dead battery but when it wouldn’t jump I relised something else was wrong and had to be towed home. The first starter from Amazon was boxed wrong. Easy returned and got correct part. The PowerMaster spins my 12:1 SBC 400 like a low compression stock motor. Very nice part. It is a little costly but at this point I consider it worth it not to find myself stranded again… .

Works awesome for turning engine over. Installing was a little problematic due to solenoid being shorter so had to “stretch” my battery cables to reach new terminal. Heat shield from original starter did not transfer over. Hoping heat soak will not be an issue down the road.
