This is the same price as a motorcraft filter. Let me start off by saying how this is the only filter that I see that wraps the top of the filter… Awesome! The box came ripped, but i felt confident because of the wraping. The k&n gold filter doesnt even come wraped. The filter fit good. Going to buy again for 2001 f150 4.6!

Fits 2010 Lincoln Navigator 5.4 RWD , helps with oil pressure, runs smoother then my default frame ultra XG2 20,000 mile filter. The K&N filters set to last 10-15k , clean oil , I use Castrol titanium 5W-20. Highly recommend for any engine but more so for the 5.4 Ford motors.

This filter is now my standard replacement on my 4.6L and 5.4L engine equipped trucks. I switched to hi-volume oil pumps and figured the economy filters were not a good fit. These look like they are better-made than average and can withstand higher pressure. I am not an expert, but the overall quality looks to be good, I really like the threads in the cap, they look much more cleanly cut than the bargain brands, and the silicone drain-back seal looks better than most. Overall, for the price range, I will stick with these filters and not worry about the others.
