Great filter at a great price. I really wish the local stores would stock the black filters instead of just the white ones with the nut. I like the nut and all but it is not worth the extra $7 or so. Anyway, I have used these on my Rangers and my Merkurs. They are a great quality filter and cheaper than the alternatives. When I went to auto-tech school, I learned a lot about oil and filters and will say that buying a good quality oil and filter will help your car go a lot farther before it mechanically fails.

This is a great filter. It’s extra large and as a result, I only change it at every other oil change. Since I change my oil at 3000 miles I’m sure it’s up to the job. For some reason this seller requires an adult signature for delivery. I wasn’t home for the original delivery and item was brought to a local hardware store where UPS said I could go to pick it up. For a 6 dollar filter?!?!

I didn’t care much for k&n making these in China- that’s not right. Overall, seems decent otherwise.

My 65 mustang runs at 84 PSI oil pressure on a cold start. This filter brought it down to 80. Befor you think it no I’m not running straight 30 weight or even 20w50. Just good old 10w30. On a hot idel I’m at 50psi

Same filter you’d get for 5$. But THIS ONE says “K&N” on it. Oooh. So fancy.
