Fits: 326, 350, 370, 389, 400, 421, 428, 455 (’58-’79), ( Except Ram Air IV, Super Duty & High Output). Remflex Exhaust Gaskets are soft and compressible so the suggested torque for each gasket, which is generally much lower than factory torque, is listed on the back of each package. Remflex’s unique flexible graphite material has been proven for more than 30 years in industrial applications, where temperatures routinely exceed 2000 degrees-day after day, week after week, year after year. For over 10 years Remflex has been bringing this technology to automotive enthusiasts of all kinds to eliminate exhaust leaks for good. Experience has shown that no gasket “should” be reused if you want a reliable seal, therefore Remflex do not sell or market gaskets as reusable even though it have been told that they have been reused successfully in the past. Do not use sealants of any type with Remflex gaskets. The sealant burns out rapidly leaving a gap which creates an exhaust leak. Remflex Exhaust Gaskets are good to 3000 degrees which far exceeds the temperature rating of any sealant.
- 1-1/8 inch width x 1-3/4 inch height D Shaped Center Ports; Pontiac V8 – 326, 350, 370, 389, 400, 421, 428, 455, Port Match to Head, Manifold or Headers, 2/Set

- There are no rubber binders or composite materials in Remflex exhaust gaskets so they will not shrink or harden due to time or temperature eliminating the need to go back and continually retighten your flange bolts
- Heating and cooling of the exhaust system causes header and manifold flanges to warp resulting in gaps between the head and header which Remflex exhaust gaskets seal completely due to the thickness and compressibility of the 100 percent flexible graphite
- Fit type: Universal Fit

After lots of inquiries on the Pontiac GTO forum, all fingers pointed to the Remflex Header gaskets.I have a 67 GTO with a major header gasket leak. So bad that in between shifts (4speed) it would backfire!Although expensive, Amazon is the cheapest I found these gaskets. Even though they are much thicker than anything else out there, you still use your stock length header bolts. In this case, I had a set of ARP bolts which worked just great. These RF12-001 gaskets fit my 6x D-port heads perfectly.

nonstop leaks at header flandes for 15 years using popular branded gaskets. These gaskets finally did the trick. Make sure you don’t tighten too much to allow Remflex to do it’s job

Great Gaskets. I do trim these to fit around the Dipstick tube on my Pontiac engines. They are hard to cut as they have metal mesh in the middle.Work great. Don’t over tighten

These are the best gaskets to use for headers with warped flanges or if you just don’t want to repeat the job.
