   This was a little overkill for my project, but so much better than the previous owner’s fix (stringing the loose end of the throttle return spring around a random manifold stud!) I installed this with the Dorman 2-spring throttle return kit and was able to tune the spring pressure to suit my gas pedal feel. You don’t want a throttle that doesn’t close when you take your foot off the gas, so PLEASE spend the money to to this right!
