   This thermostat is way smaller than the original, but so far so good after 2000 km !!!, they should include a new gasket with the part !!!, don’t forget to turn on the heater (max temperature for a few minutes) with the engine running (once new part is replaced to remove any air from the system; use the purging, air release valve located on the engine block) wait until temperature go very high, don’t open radiator cap unless you have a big wet cold cloth on it and you know what you are doing, and wait a little bit before slowly opening the air release valve, cover your eyes just in case.

   It came as ordered and pictured and my mechanic (I Think-lol?) installed it-did not ask for gasket and I now do not remember if one came with it but not sure if tube of FIPG was useable if any left over after sealing water pump with timing belt-these guys are good so they would have left me the new part if it did not go on correctly—temp running well on Lexus GX470 and no gripes- I do see that some folks say its OEM but think for Lexus its not the original exact match but fits—I might get the Toyota certified match if doing again simply as its on so many vehicles yet its sold so often with same tAISIN 021 Timing belt kit that I am pretty sure its just as good as original if not exact…but I will repost in 6 months or year and upgrade or downgrade if any problems–

   It fit perfectly with a Beck Arnley gasket. Fixed a P0128 not getting to temp issue due to a stuck open thermostat with 140k miles on it. Knocked off one star because it has way less material than OEM.
