like the Spectre and K@N. better than the dry filter’s, that come with the cold air intake kit. for the 4.6 and 5.4 Ford V-8 Triton engines,,, I also added the pre filter this time !! and have the power increase. and peace of mind. micro particles. fuel increase ?? can not say def yes. ,, but NO MORE !

I bought this specter speed cold air intake from a wholesaler here in Houston for $60. Installed everything like the instructions say too. When I went to get the filter, I knew It wasn’t going to fit because it’s a for a 4” connector. This one is a 6” opening, I’m guessing Spectre Speed put the wrong filter in the packaging. I ordered this one on Amazon, installed it and fits perfect like it should. All specs on this product are as described. Happy with my purchase.

Had to laugh at Spectres claim that this air filter would last a million miles. I didn’t even crack 100k before I realized the filter had literally eroded away. The rubber piece the hose clamp secures the filter to the intake box ripped and i am afraid to know how much crap my truck inhaled due to this filter being a POS. At the end of the day, I think I paid more money to install the initial air intake and filter as well as buying cleaning kits to clean the filter out and my second air filter, then leaving the stock intake alone. The idea of having a reusable filter will NOT save you any $ in the long run. So if you’re just trying to look cool to your buddies, this will do just fine for you. If you’re looking for anything else, save your money and leave the stock components alone.
