The filter has many benifits to it aside from good gas mileage. I installed this in a kia spectra, that had a paper filter stock. It was ok before but know it is much more powerful, and revs much better. I haven’t found out if it gets better mileage but I’m assuming it does if it gets more power, it will get better mileage. Any K&N filter will be good, as long as its a cone shape. Something else that I noticed was the increased resonance from the ingine. Its a something that I like to see in the car, its louder. If you what a better sounding engine, and more power, and possilby better mpg this is for you.To the people that did not find this helpful let me know in the comment section below

I used this to build a “stealth” cold air intake for my wife’s car. Looks factory, but the motor can breathe now!As usual, K&N didn’t let me down. A great price here on Amazon and a great quality product.

My old mushroom filter was super dirty and clogged, I drive a 1992 MR2 Turbo, and I decided to change it with this one. Once I switched I noticed a significant gain in torque and acceleration. Everyone might not experience the same results since mine was so dirty before, but I had a K&N in my old car and it improved throttle speed in that one as well so I know its not a fluke! Amazon said it would NOT fit my car but sure enough it did so I would say give it a shot despite what amazon says. It is after all “universal”, and you can easily adjust the clamp. A must buy!

Best deal I have found on a K&N filter. Still using the same one as of 8/2014.You can use the sizing guides on the K&N website to find the right fit for any application, then search the part number on Amazon and probably find the lowest price. The cleaning kit is the same price in a parts store vs. online, so don’t bother ordering that unless you live somewhere remote.

Bought as a replacement for my Subaru’s SPT High Flow filter. For the same price I get the same performance, but a lifetime filter. Always been happy with my K&N products. I have them in all of my cars.

I always have been a fan of K&N. This filter was a great addition to my aftermarket system on Mazda 3. Learned over time that the oil in this filters was coming off and sticking to the MAF sensor, which started failing over time. Have been staying out of K&N for some time and MAF sensor is always in pristine condition.
