Got this large K&N cone filter to replace the same size cone filter that came with a air filter kit for my F450HD , diesel. The cone filter that came with the kit (Spectrum) was HORRIBLE. It was more restrictive than the OEM paper filter in the OEM box I was getting rid of. It ALSO did NOT filter worth a darn. In side the new tube was a fine layer of dirt/dust. It was SO bad I took the filter off and ran without a filter.After putting this K&N on, could not even tell a difference (in performance) than when it had no filter. Plus its actually filtering dirt & dust.This filter is go good I am ordering an even larger cone unit for my Dodge which is using a BHAF paper filter, that has to be replaced periodically.

This K&N is a perfect fit for my Bully Dog air induction system on my diesel. I was on my 2nd Bully Dog filter and that one too was breaking down, not built very good. This K&N fit perfectly and is much more sturdy. And with the K&N reputation, it’ll last a long time.

This fit my 1999 Ford F350 7.3L with the Air Raid system perfectly.

Purchased for a custom application and it’s a K&N filter so properly cared for it’s the last filter I will purchase for this vehicle. Covered by an Outerwears prefilter it will last forever and only need cleaning every few YEARS not every oil change like the oil change place “recommends”. Cleaning too often or too much breaks down the filter even in harsh conditions they last.
