Well what you get is in the name. Had cherry bombs and got tired of how loud they were on 1hr+ drives, so I switched over to these. Idling and around 35 mph they really are pretty quiet considering its a straight glass pack, but a good low tone to them. They do get pretty loud when you get on the skinny pedal and get up to speed which sounds awesome and let’s you hear all the hp youre putting out. I’ve got them hooked up in a 64 cj5 cammed 350 with headers and short piped. I’m pretty happy with them, wish they were just a touch louder, but all in all a great buy.

I measured the inside with my iphone (not super scientific, i know) driving the same speed on the same roads. It went from 82db average to 80 average. It was a noticeable difference, but thats about it. I’m confident its not a placebo that it got quieter, but it didn’t get much quieter than that.

I thought the exhaust on my 1998 2.8 Z3 was a little too quiet. I wanted more of an exhaust note but want to avoid an obnoxious drone.I’ve done the “muffler delete” in the past and although the full throttle sound was good, the lower rpm drone was not. This time I decided to delete the muffler and factory resonator and add this one one along with nice stainless dual tips. Well, the resulting sound is awesome and of course there is a significant weight savings over the stock muffler. And NO drone!!!Very happy customer. 5 stars

I installed a cat back exhaust system and replaced the OEM resonator with a Vibrant bottle style resonator (not the ultra quiet) on my Lexus IS250. I found it to be painfully loud inside the cabin, especially between 2-3K RPM’s.I went back to the factory resonator and it was quieter than the Vibrant bottle style resonator, but still had a loud drone between 2-3K RPM’s (about 81-89db).I couldn’t find many reviews comparing the factory resonator to the Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator, so I gave it a shot to try and bring down the noise/drone a bit more.Pro’s:-gave the exhaust a slightly more mature, throaty, deep sound (not deep in the sense of drone)-rounded out the tone of the exhaust throughout the RPM band (helped it blend)-made the drone a little less piercing (hard to describe since the volume didn’t change much)Con’s:-didn’t lower overall cabin volume except by 1-2 decibels compared to the OEM resonator-slightly raised the exhaust volume outside the car by about 10% compared to the OEM resonator (didn’t measure db)Is it worth getting over an OEM resonator? Maybe, but it probably depends on your setup, the OEM resonator, and your expectations. For me it was a very minor improvement. I probably wouldn’t do it again, but I had to find out for myself. It certainly didn’t make things worse, but it didn’t add significant value either.I feel like most of these reviews are comparing noise levels going from no resonator or an aftermarket (loud) resonator so take them for what they are if you have an OEM resonator.

I have a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti sport that I had just placed an aftermarket exhaust on but it was way too loud and raspy. My wife hated it because it shook the house during a cold start in the morning. I installed it right before the y split near the rear axle and it eliminated all drone while still leaving the nice low rumble intact. I highly recommend it to anyone who was having the same problem I was.

Noise level is definitely quiet down, drone was killing my ears, but with this resonator that’s taken care ofThere is some small sound still but nothing that bothers the ears ., quality is exceptional and value for the money is definey worth it

Great resonator. I have a 3.6l V6 supercharged Jeep JKU with a cat delete ( I melted those poor cats ????) and a AFE catback exhaust mufflerWhen i removed my cats and had only the muffler it was much more louder and raspier then when i was catted. You could easily heard it several blocks away. It was extremely annoying driving around and all you can hear is raspyness and drone. So i decided to take a chance on these resonator since i read all the great reviews on it. To my surprise it made much more of a difference then i expected. It completely removed the raspyness and the drone that was bothering and all im left with is a nice deep sound. At first when i first cold start my vehicle it sounded like when i was still catted and i was like wow that did not do anything. But to my delight after i reved it several times i was amazed on the sound of the exhaust. Decided to drive around and do some spirited driving and i could hear more forced induction noises over the exhaust vs vise versa from before.Im quite the happy person

I installed two of these in front of my dynomax muffler. Perfect combination. Nice rumble minus the drone noise.
